LIFE Groups are our small groups that meet weekly or monthly for the purpose of building friendships and growing in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. LIFE Group means Living In Fellowship and Evangelism, God Revealing Our Ultimate Potential.
The different types of LIFE Groups are home groups, affinity groups, ministry groups, and classes. You are free to choose and attend the LIFE Group that best fits the needs of you and your family. Click here to search for a LIFE Group.
Home Groups
These small groups provide an atmosphere for building friendships, prayer, and encouragement. We have home groups that meet everywhere from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. Home groups can meet any day of the week and at any time of day. Most home groups meet for no more than 90 minutes and this time can include fellowship, praise & worship, teaching, prayer, or all of the above.
Affinity Groups
These small groups are built around a common interest like sports, hobbies, or specific needs such as addiction recovery, life after divorce, grief support, etc.
Ministry Groups
These small groups are built around a common ministry area like choir, ushers, media, prison ministry, street witnessing, urban outreach, etc.
Classes
These small groups are designed to equip and train people for personal growth and work in the ministry. Our classes include everything from beginning ballet to a college degree. Our Discipleship Pathway classes are for on-going leadership development. Our Elective classes are structured around personal development in five essential areas: spiritual, psychological, physical, relational, and financial.
