Jesus’ last command to his disciples was to “GO into all the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”. (Matthew 28:18) His last command - is our first priority!
The goal of Bethel Temple missions is to motivate and empower individuals to complete Christ’s last command to make disciples of all nations, whether they are around the block here in Hampton Roads, or across the other side of the world. To accomplish this, we support many full-time missionaries in various parts of the world, as well as equip, train, and release individuals here in Hampton Roads to take the hope of the Gospel to those who may have never heard of God’s love for them. In 2010, we have 10 short-term missions trips planned for Africa, Asia, Latin America, Middle East, and here in the USA.
In addition, we will be holding several forums focused on current social issues such as world hunger, human trafficking, and HIV/AIDS. Our goal is that we might partner together with other organizations to make a difference in the lives of millions with the life-changing power of Jesus.
